Garage Therapy is proud to announce that our Roamerdrive brand will be the title sponsor of Team Roamerdrive, powered by TWS Motors, as they prepare to compete in the legendary Dakar Classic Rally in 2027.
The American women’s rally duo - Jenna Fribley (Oregon) and Liza Beres (California) - will take on more than 4,000 km of desert driving across Saudi Arabia in a specially prepared 1972 Range Rover Classic. Known for their sharp navigation, technical driving, and strong results at the all-women Rebelle Rally, Jenna and Liza will carry the Team Roamerdrive name to Dakar in their international debut.
A Classic Land Rover, Modernised
The team’s 1972 Range Rover pays tribute to the vehicle that won the inaugural Dakar in 1979. Built in collaboration with TWS Motors, the project blends heritage and performance - featuring a high-performance Rover V8 rebuild, heavy-duty drivetrain upgrades, suspension and safety enhancements, and the debut outing of Roamerdrive’s newest overdrive unit for the LT95 gearbox.
Garage Therapy is proud to be providing the Roamerdrive overdrives and technical support to help the team tackle one of the toughest endurance rallies in the world.
Our Role as Sponsor
At Garage Therapy, we’re honoured that Roamerdrive will be the name carried by Jenna and Liza throughout Dakar 2027. Our products are built for endurance, and supporting a team that embodies that same spirit is a natural fit. We will also be supplying our updated LT-95 overdrives to the team throughout the competition and look forward to working with them to push the limits of our overdrives during their testing phase next year.
We’ll be following their journey closely as they prepare for the January 2027 start line - and sharing updates along the way.

From the Team
Jenna Fribley:
“Taking on the Dakar Classic is the ultimate test of endurance, skill, and teamwork. This is more than a race. It’s about adventure, resilience, and living the spirit of exploration that drew us to Land Rovers in the first place.”
Liza Beres:
“This is about more than just us - it’s about showing what women can do in motorsports. We’re proud to make history as Team Roamerdrive, powered by TWS Motors, and we’re excited to represent American women, the Land Rover community, and every person who believes in chasing big dreams.”
Brad Miocevich:
"Roamerdrive products were built for people who take their Land Rovers into the toughest conditions on earth. To see our overdrives tested in the Dakar Classic by two such determined and skilled drivers is a real honour. We’re proud to have our name carried across the desert, and even prouder to support Jenna and Liza as they inspire a new generation of adventurers."
